Privacy information
Last updated: 13 October 2026. This notice describes the current website and email enquiry process. It does not cover future customer purchase-order processing.
Who is responsible?
SCCS Operations is a proposed service of Success Shopping Finland Oy, Energiakuja 3, 00180 Helsinki, Finland. Finnish Business ID: 2546354-6. For enquiries about privacy, contact operations@sccs.fi.
Information we receive
For carefully targeted business outreach, we may also collect publicly available company details and business contact information from company websites, directories or professional pages, such as company name, business email address, relevant job title, and the source and date of our research. We may record our correspondence, whether a message was routed to a purchasing colleague, and whether you have asked us not to contact you again. We do not purchase bulk contact lists.
If you email us to ask about the service or a possible pilot, we may receive your name, work email address, company, role, and whatever information you include in the message. We may also receive subsequent correspondence about your enquiry.
This website does not currently provide a customer login, purchase-order upload facility, or web enquiry form.
Why we use enquiry information
We may use limited publicly sourced business contact information to ask relevant UK industrial distributors about their supplier-acknowledgement process and whether a proposed service might be useful. These messages may constitute direct marketing. Our proposed legal basis for processing personal business contact details is legitimate interests in researching and developing a relevant B2B service, subject to a documented necessity and balancing assessment and applicable marketing rules. We do not assume that publishing a business email address amounts to consent.
You may object to direct-marketing contact at any time by replying to the message or emailing operations@sccs.fi. We will stop this outreach and keep the minimum information necessary to honour your request and prevent further contact. We do not sell prospect information or add people automatically to a marketing list.
We use enquiry information to respond, discuss your requirements, arrange conversations and assess whether a limited pilot is appropriate. We do not use enquiry emails to automatically enrol you in a marketing list.
For ordinary business enquiries, we expect to rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with potential business customers and assessing a possible service relationship, balanced against the interests and rights of the people contacting us. Where an individual requests steps before entering a contract in their own name, the pre-contractual basis may instead apply. We do not use enquiry details for automated decision-making.
Where information goes
Enquiries sent to operations@sccs.fi are handled using the company's business email service. The public website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled to help us understand aggregate website traffic and page usage. We do not use it to build advertising profiles. Cloudflare may process technical visit information to provide this measurement; its operation is separate from any optional analytics scripts in our website source files.
Our business email provider is Microsoft 365 (Microsoft). Our website hosting and delivery provider is Cloudflare. These providers may process technical or correspondence data under their applicable contractual terms, including data-processing terms and international-transfer safeguards where required. Cloudflare may process connection information such as IP addresses and security logs when delivering the website. We do not claim that all processing is confined to Finland, the EEA or the UK.
Website analytics and technical information
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand traffic and site performance, such as page views and general visit patterns. Cloudflare also processes technical connection information to deliver and protect the website. We do not use analytics to make decisions about individual visitors. The precise technical data processed and any cookies or local storage used depend on the deployed Cloudflare configuration and services; this notice will be updated if those settings change.
How long we keep enquiries
Prospect research records are reviewed periodically and deleted when no longer needed for proportionate business research, subject to applicable obligations. Suppression details needed to honour an objection may be kept longer for that limited purpose. We do not promise a fixed automatic deletion date.
We aim to keep enquiry information only for as long as needed to respond, assess a possible pilot, meet applicable legal obligations or resolve a relevant dispute.
We review inactive, unsuccessful enquiries at least once every 12 months and delete personal information no longer needed. This is a review interval, not a promise that every message will automatically be deleted after 12 months. Active discussions and information required for legal obligations or disputes may be retained longer where justified.
Your rights
Right to object: You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time. We will respect that objection without requiring you to explain why.
Depending on the applicable data-protection law and circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and request portability where applicable. You can contact us at operations@sccs.fi. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection supervisory authority. In Finland, this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman; UK individuals may also have rights to raise concerns with the UK Information Commissioner's Office, depending on the circumstances.
Purchase orders and supplier correspondence
Please do not send live purchase orders, supplier agreements or third-party personal data through an initial website enquiry. Before handling real customer orders, we would agree the authorised workflow, confidentiality requirements, security arrangements, retention, responsibilities and any required data-processing agreement with the customer. Those operational arrangements are not yet part of this public website.
Changes
We may update this notice when our services or processing change. We will show the date of the latest update on this page and communicate material changes directly where appropriate.
